Senior Associate
Seven provides project management, consulting and research support for a range of workforce, K-12 and higher education clients at Penn Hill Group.
Prior to joining the firm, Seven volunteered for multiple local and statewide Texas electoral campaigns in South Texas, worked as a field organizer for a presidential campaign and served as an outreach director for a U.S. Senate campaign. He also worked with non-profits on efforts related to civic engagement and U.S. border policy.
Seven started his teaching career as a tutor and supplemental instructor at Texas A&M International University, where he developed a passion for teaching and learned about the importance of Federal grants for the students he served. He then joined Teach for America, where he taught 3rd grade as a science and math teacher and as a 1st grade dual language teacher in the greater Boston area.
His policy experience includes an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives for his home district, Texas’ 28th. He then joined the U.S. Senate as a Teach for America Fellow where he worked on several K-12 and higher education bills. Afterwards, Seven joined the Texas Education Agency under the emergent bilingual division where he used his policy and dual language teacher experiences to support districts across Texas.
Seven holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Texas A&M International University. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, long-distance cycling, reading philosophy and attempting to become a polyglot.
