CONGRESS

The General Services Administration and the U.S. Department of Education (ED) announced that ED will move from its current location at the Lyndon B. Johnson headquarters building to 500 D Street SW.

U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Chairman Bill Cassidy (R-LA) issued a Request for Information (RFI) on stabilizing college sports and preserving opportunities for athletes.

The Senate unanimously passed a measure to fund the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with the exception of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

COURTS

A district court judge extended the deadline through April 6 for institutions in 17 States to submit admissions data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Admissions and Consumer Transparency Supplement Survey.

A district court judge ruled that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau must continue to request funds from the Federal Reserve Board.

An appellate court denied ED’s emergency motion to delay Sweet vs. McMahon settlement relief.
