Earlier this month, Penn Hill Group Principal Danica Petroshius served on a panel during the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) professional development conference. Discussing “Current Trends and New Approaches in Learning,” Petroshius served on a panel with An Me Chung (Mozilla), Stephanie Morris (National Association of the Education of Young Children) and Carissa Moffat Miller (Council of Chief State School Officers).
Petroshius offered a national policy perspective on trends that are affecting learning in and out of the classroom, particularly advances in technology. Panelists also spoke on opportunities and challenges facing education today, including access to technology and high-quality content. Panelists agreed technology can be a powerful tool in supporting student success.
