HOUSE and SENATE

The U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate passed a continuing resolution to keep the Federal government funded through February 18, 2022.

ADMINISTRATION

The U.S. Department of Education (ED) approved three more plans (Washington, American Samoa and the U.S. Virgin Islands) for the use of Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds under the American Rescue Plan.

ED announced the launch of two new “multistate communities of practice” to assist States in addressing the effects of lost instructional time on students.
