ADMINISTRATION
The U.S. Department of Education shared recent technical fixes to the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form as well as new and updated resources for institutions, State aid agencies, software vendors, supporting organizations, students and families as it begins the FAFSA rollout.
The Institute of Education Sciences released a report titled “Identifying the Nation’s Lowest Performing Schools: Shifts Following the Passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).”
The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued a memorandum clarifying that students eligible for free or reduced-price meals will no longer be required to pay additional electronic processing fees beginning in the 2027-2028 school year.
