ELECTIONS
President Donald Trump was elected the 47th President of the United States. The Republican Party also secured control of the U.S. Senate, flipping the chamber for the 119th Congress. The outcome of the U.S. House of Representatives remains undecided, with ongoing vote counts in several districts.
Republican leadership elections in the House and Senate are scheduled for November 13. House Democrats are aiming to hold their leadership elections the following week on November 19 and 20.
House Education and the Workforce Committee Chair Virginia Foxx (R-NC) wrote the U.S. Department of Education regarding possible changes to agency guidance on incentive compensation.
