House Committee on Education and the Workforce Chairwoman Virginia Foxx sent a letter to Harvard University stating that the Committee will issue a subpoena if Harvard does not comply with previous Committee requests for information.

ADMINISTRATION

The U.S. Department of Education sent its final rule on sexual misconduct and gender identity provisions in Title IX to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) for review.

ED completed its second negotiated rulemaking session on program integrity and institutional quality.

ED announced that it will allocate $50 million in Federal resources and dispatch Federal personnel to assist institutions of higher education in processing financial aid applications.
