In a recent article in Roll Call titled “Some Lobbyists Buck the Odds in 2011,” Penn Hill Group was named one of the top new lobbying firms in 2011.  The article says that although revenue has dropped in federal lobbying in recent quarters, some firms are still finding ways to increase their business, including some new organizations.

In particular, the article states that of the new firms opening their doors in 2011, “few have done as well as [the] Penn Hill Group.”

Penn Hill Group Principal Vic Klatt was quoted, saying, “Working in a niche industry has been essential to the firm’s success. What people come to use for is the knowledge of education issues. We’re all former staff people who have worked in this field for some time.”
